MAKING NEW YEAR CARDS

Pupils of forms 3 B, 5 B and 5 C have made beautiful New Year cards. Children were really happy creating the cards!

Project "HEALTHY FOOD"

Pupils of the 5 B and 5 C forms presented their projects about healthy food. Now they know where they can find vitamins and minerals, what food is junk and what rules of healthy eating are.

Webinar "Using Picturebooks with Children"

Gail Ellis from British Council presented her ideas in an informative webinar about using picturebooks with children.

Mini-project "TOY SHOP" 

Pupils of the first form (NUS) had fun at the lesson making a mini-project "Toy Shop". First kids coloured the toys, then presented them: "It is a car. It is blue." As a result we have lovely free shops of toys.

SELF-ACCES COURSE "ENGLISH FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS"

I have succesfully completed the online-course "English for Primary School Teachers" (20 hours) on the platform https://nus-english.com.ua/login, which icluded lots of materials tied to practical face-to-face topics. 

Summer School 2018

At last my dream came true: I attended British Council Ukraine-IATEFL Ukraine Teacher Professional Development Summer School. It was on July, 1-7  in Drahobrat, a very beautiful place in the Carpathians. My groupmates and trainers were amazing, friendly and helpful people. After the classes we had an opportunity to go hiking, taste national food, gather blueberries, share ideas and just have fun. It was cool!

Face-to-face course 

Three-days face-to-face course for EL teachers who will work in NUS was very intensive, collaborative and thought-provoking. 

I've just finished listening to a great webinar "Skills for English, Skills for Life"
 from Jeanne Perrett, the author of the textbook for kids "Learning Stars". 

Щойно закінчила надзвичайно корисний онлайн курс DYSLEXIA AND LEARNING FOREIGN LANGUAGES. Дізналася, що таке дислексія та як допомогти вивчати англійську учням, які мають дислексію.

Міський конкурс "Знавці англійської мови"

Четвертокласники взяли участь у міському конкурсі знавців англійської мови. Всі учасники (а їх було 14) отримали сертифікати Рівненського міського управління освіти.

SECRET STORE

Другокласники представили свої міні-проекти "Secret Store" ("Таємна схованка") та розповіли англійською, що там знаходиться. Приємно потішило, що форми представлених робіт були різноманітні.)

TEACHING FOR SUCCESS: THE CLASSROOM AND THE WORLD - онлайн-курс від Британської ради, який закінчила сьогодні. Обговорювалися такі питання, як уміння, необхідні у 21-му столітті, вплив сучасних технологій на навчання, корисні для вчителів веб-ресурси, інтернет-булінг та ін.

Dino's Time!

  Опрацювавши надзвичайно пізнавальний матеріал про динозаврів англійською мовою, учні 4 класу проявили творчість, виготовивши динозаврів із пластиліну. Було весело!
