History of Teacher Training (webinar)

Thanks to Graham Jones and Dinternal Education I got to know about three models in the history of teacher training, which are the craft model, the applied science model and the reflective model. 

 

Diana Havron's Projects

When my students get a task to tell about something some of them like writing their texts and adding some drawings or cut outs on the topic. I was totally impressed by creative works which were made by Diana Havron, a pupil of form 6 B. Watch a video and you'll see a project about sports in the form of a basketball, interactive project about food and a book about shopping in Britain.

PROTEACH course

Autumn holidays were very fruitful for my CPD. I have completed module 3 of PROTEACH course. The trainer Olena Mikhodui taught us how to teach grammar and vocabulary to the young teenagers. I got to know lots of  terminology and practical ideas for the lessons. Elicitation techniques was something new for me.

 Курси професійної підготовки вчителів англійської мови в початковій та основній школі PROTEACH (Professional Teacher) розроблено освітньою компанією ILAC у співпраці з компанією Dinternal Education, офіційним представником Pearson в Україні. Мета проекту — підтримати освітні реформи в Україні та забезпечити вчителям  англійської мови найкращі можливості для професійного розвитку.

Курси розроблено відповідно до інтегрованого та особистісно-орієнтованого підходу до професійного розвитку вчителів англійської мови в початковій та основній школі.

Курс: Навчання учнів основної школи із застосуванням сучасних методів, підходів та ресурсів (класи 5–8)

Модуль 3. Учні та їхні потреби. Навчання лексики та граматики – 16  годин

CLIMATE ACTION. RESULTS

Here is the result of taking part in international project. We have planted 36 fir-trees.

International Project "Climate Action"

Pupils of 6 B and 6 C are taking part in another international project on sustainable development. 
Here is the description of the project (from its page https://www.climate-action.info/):
Imagine a world in which youngsters across 6 continents connect virtually and solve one of the world's most pressing challenges: Climate Change. In October students aged 6-22 will collaborate on climate change topics over the course of four exciting weeks: they will study causes and effects, will try to solve issues and take action. Their and societies' mindsets will be changed.
This project is supported by HH Dalai Lama, UN Foundation, Dr. Jane Goodall and world leaders. During the past years it was featured by National Geographic, BBC and 40 more national media.
